Tampa Bay community Eruv

On Shabbat, the Jewish day of rest, Jewish Law restricts the carrying of objects in public areas. To make it easier for families with young children, we have established an eruv, allowing for the permissible carrying of objects on this special day.

This solution benefits families by allowing them to bring along necessary items such as strollers and baby carriers, providing greater mobility and comfort. Our eruv is inspected weekly, with status updates communicated through our WhatsApp group.

If you'd like to support our efforts, donations towards the construction, inspection, and maintenance of the eruv can be made here. Simply specify "eruv" in the notes.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, don't hesitate to reach out to us at chabadsocial @ gmail.com

Please note, when using the eruv, it is important to carefully inspect the map and confirm the route is within the eruv boundaries. Some sections only cover one side of the street and may have limitations, such as on Ehrlich Rd Westbound from S Village Dr, where only the South sidewalk is included for the first 200 ft.
